He escaped reality, finding peace only in the dark. I don’t know what kind of past shaped him this way. He lives in his own world, seemingly unaffected by anything around him.

I used to joke with a hint of meaning that many people are dead but just haven’t been buried yet. And then, COVID-19 happened. Maybe that pandemic made him understand that saying more deeply.

He boldly stepped out of the shadows, daring to come closer, touching his own self, bravely erasing his dark, lonely self, and becoming someone completely new. Now, he opens up to me more, sharing many stories filled with a variety of emotions. He shares more about his feelings in each piece of work or plans to change his canvas, eagerly sketching wild ideas.

Sometimes, I realize that all I need to do is stay silent, listen, and understand. That alone becomes a springboard for him to freely soar beyond entangling rules and reach the true meaning of art without limits, without oppressive boundaries.

A master of Fine Line Tattoos, from composition to detail.

“I’m from a small town, so I’ve struggled to access new things. By coincidence or fate, I heard about Recycle.

After some hesitation, I decided to push myself, carrying my dreams on my back, arriving at this second home with anxiety, ready to face challenges. As I integrated into this environment, I gradually understood the goals I was pursuing. Everything became clearer, bringing me joy. Slowly, I stepped out of the shadows of loneliness. My colleagues helped me unlock hidden potentials I hadn’t even realized were there.

Every life has the paths it has traveled—those are memories. I love their value and meaning. I listen to clients’ wishes and combine them with the memories they want to keep, creating tattoos that hold new memories and the hopes they aim toward with each milestone of life.” - Ace
